Nathan Gonzalez is a Bay Area music educator.  He received a B.M. in music education, and a Single Subject Credential in music from San Jose State University.  As an educator, Nathan has a diverse teaching experience.  He actively teaches private piano lessons in Santa Cruz, Ca.  In past experiences Nathan has taught general music for TK-8th grade, as well as elementary and middle school band for St. Martin of Tours school.  Group piano lessons at several community centers in San Jose, Ca for SJG School of Music.  General music for 3rd -6th grade at Cadwallader and Franklin elementary through the nonprofit Music for Minors, and has also taught drumline at Mission Hill middle school in Santa Cruz.  Additionally, he has worked with college students in introductory piano courses at San Jose State University. 

Nathan's mission as an educator is to expand access to musical participation, enrich local community culture, and to nurture a trade skill set that grants students intellectual freedom.
